Toronto police are investigating a stabbing that left an adult man seriously injured near Sheppard Avenue East and Highway 404 on Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to reports of an argument in the area around 10:30 a.m. Upon arrival, police located one person suffering from serious injuries. The victim, an adult male, was transported to hospital by emergency .
Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains outstanding. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall with a large build, last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Toronto Police at 416-808-2222 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
The investigation is ongoing.
