Police seek public’s help to identify suspect in alleged threats against TTC employee

Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an incident involving alleged threats against a TTC employee aboard a streetcar last November. 

According to a Toronto Police Service news release, on November 10, 2025, when a suspect boarded a TTC streetcar in the area of Bathurst Street and College Street. A TTC employee was carrying out fare checks on the streetcar and interacted with the suspect, who then allegedly made threatening remarks related to an earlier encounter with a different TTC employee. 

The suspect is described as being in their mid-50s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a heavy build and short facial hair. Police have released an image of the suspect.
