Toronto Police seek two suspects in Scarborough home invasion stabbing

Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify two suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion and stabbing in Scarborough. 

Officers were called to the area of Kennedy Road and Ellesmere Road at around 11:27 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, following reports of a stabbing. 

Police say two male suspects knocked on a residence door. When a victim answered, the suspects allegedly forced their way inside, assaulted the victim, and demanded cash. A quantity of cash was taken. 

A second victim then appeared, at which point one of the suspects produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the stomach. Both suspects fled the scene. 

The Hold Up Squad is leading the investigation. 

Suspect #1 is described as 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5’7” tall, with a medium build. 

Suspect #2 is described as 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5’5” tall, with a slim build. 

Images of the suspects have been released.  

Police warn the suspects are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who sees them is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7350 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477
