Toronto Police Service is appealing for assistance after a 76-year-old man has died following a collision involving a pickup truck on Keele Street Sunday afternoon.
Police say they were called to the area of Keele Street and Flamborough Drive at approximately 2:58 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2026, for a reported personal injury collision. Investigators say that the pedestrian was crossing Keele Street south of Flamborough Drive when he was struck by a red Ford pickup truck.
The driver, a 50-year-old man, was exiting a driveway and making a left turn to travel southbound on Keele Street at the time of the collision. The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver and the vehicle remained at the scene.
According to police, Traffic Services officers are continuing to investigate and are asking residents, businesses, and motorists who may have dash camera or security footage from the area to come forward.
