Police seek two suspects in break and enter investigation

Toronto police are searching for two suspects in connection with a break-and-enter that occurred early Tuesday morning. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the individuals. 

Police said In a news release that the alleged incident took place around 2:26 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the area of Queen Street East and Beech Avenue. Officers were called after reports that two suspects broke into a restaurant and allegedly stole cash and other items. Police also received a report that one of the two suspects entered another nearby business and is believed to have stolen property and cash. 

The first suspect is described as a man between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a green jacket, black hooded sweater, a black toque, black pants, and red-and-white Nike shoes. He was also carrying a black duffle bag. 

The second suspect is also described as a man between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a white jacket, gray pants, black gloves, a black-and-white bandana, a black toque, and dark shoes with white soles. He was seen carrying a green shopping bag. 

Police have released images of the suspects.
