Toronto Police Service has arrested a suspect wanted in an investigation into alleged assaults that took place at a group home last November.
In a news release, police said they responded to a complaint at around 9:00 a.m. on December 10, 2025, in the area of Sibley Avenue and Dentonia Park Avenue. Police allege the suspect was employed as a caregiver for vulnerable adults at the group home and that between November 1 and November 30, 2025, the suspect allegedly committed a series of assaults against residents.
As part of the investigation, police announced that 38-year-old Toronto resident Oghenemaro Dave Ejerua has been arrested and charged with seven counts of assault.
Ejerua was scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice at 10 Armoury Street on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in room 106.
