The Toronto Police Service is searching for a female suspect following in connection with an assault that occurred earlier this week on Tuesday while two males have been charged.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026, in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Danforth Avenue. A female suspect and two male suspects approached a victim and allegedly assaulted them physically.
Police say the woman was believed to have a weapon and used it to attack the victim. The victim was able to escape the scene, and a bystander in the area contacted police.
When officers arrived, they arrested the two male suspects. The female suspect fled the area and was last seen walking eastbound on the north side of Danforth Avenue.The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The outstanding suspect is described as a female between 5’5″ and 5’7″, with long dark hair and a medium-to-heavy build. She was last seen wearing a black Canada Goose winter coat, black pants, and brown boots.
Images of the suspect have been released.
Peter Blake, 35, of no fixed address, and Michael Ayue Beny, 44, of Toronto, were arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm.
Both are scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 10 Armoury Street, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in courtroom 202.
