The OPP is seeking information from witnesses in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred Thursday morning in the eastbound collector lanes of Highway 401 in Mississauga.
The collision happened around 6:10 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Dixie Road. A 32-year-old female pedestrian was killed in the incident. She was struck by a vehicle and the vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The pedestrian died at the scene.
Mississauga OPP is appealing to the public for assistance. If anyone was in the area at the time of the collision, has dashcam footage from that time and location, or is a witness, they are asked to contact Mississauga OPP at 905-858-8670.
