Toronto Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman wanted in connection with a suspected hate-motivated mischief investigation involving graffiti at multiple TTC stations across the city.

Police say that between Thursday, July 3, 2025, and Sunday, December 21, 2025, officers responded to numerous reports of graffiti at various stations operated by the Toronto Transit Commission.

According to investigators, the suspect allegedly attended TTC stations and vandalized property by writing anti-Indian messages inside stations and on subway cars. Due to the nature of the messaging, police are treating the case as a suspected hate-motivated offence.

On December 21, the female suspect was described as wearing earmuffs, a long black coat, brown boots, and a white and brown scarf. Police have released an image of the suspect in an effort to advance the investigation.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Members of the public can contact police at 416-808-3500, or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.222tips.com
