Quebec man wanted by Toronto police in death threats investigation

Toronto Police Service is appealing for the public assistance in locating a male suspect as part of an investigation into death threats. 

In a news release, police said that on Thursday, December 10, 2025, officers were called to the area of Navy Wharf Court and Bremner Boulevard following a report of an assault. Officers were told that the suspect attended the victim’s address and, without provocation, made death threats to the victim and several other people. The victim then contacted police, and the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. 

Police have identified the suspect as 25-year-old Samuel Giguere of Quebec. He is wanted on two counts of failing to comply with a release order and four counts of uttering threats. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Police have released his photo and described him as unshaven male, of medium build, with short black hair.
