York Regional Police are searching for a suspect as part of an investigation into an alleged sexual assault of a minor in Richmond Hill. Police have now released images of the suspect and is asking for the public’s help in locating him, and police also want to speak with any witnesses.
In a news release, police said that on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at around 7 p.m., while the victim was at a business in the area of Red Maple Road and High Tech Road, the suspect approached the victim and allegedly committed an indecent act. The suspect then also allegedly touched the victim for a sexual purpose. Police describe the suspect as a man with a medium complexion, dark brown hair, and a moustache. The last time he was seen, he was wearing a mustard-colored jacket, a dark undershirt, a grey toque, and black shoes.
Police are asking anyone who can identify the suspect, saw what happened, or has relevant information to report it.
