Toronto Police Service charge a man for allegedly puncturing tires

Toronto Police Service has arrested and charged a suspect under a Mischief investigation after he was allegedly seen puncturing a vehicle’s tire with a sharp object. The police stated that the incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on December 4, 2025, in the area of Jane Street and Wilson Avenue. 

The police also located another vehicle in the area with a punctured tire. The suspect was then arrested by the officers. The police have released photos of the damaged tires. 

Additionally, the police received a report that a complainant in the same area was driving a car with a punctured tire without realizing it and the vehicle nearly crashed when it lost control.  

The investigation is still underway. Motorists are being advised to check the tires of their vehicles as driving with punctured tires can cause accidents. Police suspect there could be more vehicles affected and are urging anyone with information—or anyone who has seen similar damage to their vehicle—to get in touch with the police. Police have arrested 45-years-old Abdifatah Adde of Toronto who now faces charges on two counts of Mischief under $5000, Fail to Comply with Probation Order and Fail to Comply with Release Order. Anyone with information is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
