Peel Regional Police are investigating several vehicle break-ins in Mississauga in which access was gained either by smashing car windows or by unlocking doors. Police said these vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the incidents. Investigators from 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have appealed to the public for assistance.

Police said in a news release that they received reports of multiple vehicle break-ins on December 4, 2025, in the areas of Kimbermount Avenue, Aquitaine Avenue, and Regents Terrace in Mississauga. According to police, after gaining access to the vehicles, the suspect(s) allegedly stole items and valuables from inside.

Police have identified the vehicle believed to be linked to the break-ins as a white 2017 Lexus NX SUV, which had been reported stolen from an address in Mississauga before these incidents.

Police have reminded the public to keep their vehicles locked and secure to prevent such incidents, and not to leave valuables inside the car. Even when parking for a short time, valuables should be hidden from view.

Anyone with information about this incident, or with dashcam or CCTV footage from the time and area of the incidents, is asked to contact investigators with the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 905-453-2121, extension 1133. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
