A man is in serious, life-threatening condition after a stabbing in Toronto’s Fairbank neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
Toronto police say they received a call just before 4 p.m. reporting a stabbing in the area north of Eglinton Avenue West and Dufferin Street. Officers arrived to find a male victim suffering from stab wounds.
Toronto paramedics transported the victim to hospital with injuries described as serious and potentially life-threatening.
Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot, possibly heading south from Roselawn Avenue. Investigators have released a limited description, noting the suspect was wearing a red hat.
