Toronto man arrested in an international child exploitation case

A 23-year-old Toronto man, Muhammad Subhan Khan, has been arrested and charged in an international investigation into child luring and sexual extortion. The investigation was led by the Toronto Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Section, with support from Homeland Security Investigations Toronto and the Connersville Police Department in Indiana. Police allege Khan communicated with a person under the age of 16 across multiple social media platforms. 

Investigators say he used the following usernames: 

  • Snapchat: xsamaelx19 
  • TikTok: subhansami81924, x3ssex, deadasfloidek 
  • Discord: rottn9teen, 9teendead#0, 9teendead 
  • Instagram: sml19x, smlx19, 8subhan24, 824subhan 

The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at a residence near The East Mall and Rathburn Road. Khan faces multiple charges, including: 

  • Luring a child under 16 
  • Invitation to sexual touching 
  • Making sexually explicit images available to a person under 16 
  • Luring a child under 18 
  • Making, possessing, accessing, and making available child sexual abuse material 
  • Extortion 

He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, Toronto, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
