York Regional Police are searching for four suspects following a violent home invasion in Richmond Hill early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a residence in the area of McCallum Drive and Bathurst Street around 4:55 a.m. on November 9, 2025, after receiving reports of a break-in. Police say three suspects forced their way into the home while the residents were asleep.

Once inside, the intruders allegedly gathered the five occupants of the house into a common area and ransacked the residence. One victim was assaulted but did not sustain injuries, according to investigators.

The suspects inside the home are described as young South Asian males, all dressed in dark clothing, gloves, and balaclavas. They fled the scene in a dark blue sedan, which was being driven by a fourth suspect waiting outside.

The York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit continues to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hold-Up Unit at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 6630, or to provide an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS .
