Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau has arrested a third suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of 51-year-old Harjeet Dhadda, which occurred in Mississauga earlier this year.

On May 14, 2025, at around 11:49 a.m., Dhadda, a Brampton resident, was shot multiple times in a parking lot near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way. The suspects fled the scene in a stolen black 2018 Dodge Challenger, which was recovered shortly afterward. Dhadda was transported to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

On July 15, with assistance from the Delta Police Department and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Peel officers arrested 22-year-old Shaheel in Surrey, British Columbia. A resident of Delta, B.C., Shaheel was extradited to Ontario and charged with First Degree Murder.

This latest arrest follows the May 28 apprehension of Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both 21 and also from Delta, B.C., who were similarly charged with First Degree Murder.

Investigators continue to seek information from the public. Anyone with details is encouraged to contact the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at peelcrimestoppers.ca.
