Brampton will host telephone town hall on Tuesday, July 23, focused on community safety. The event is designed to inform residents about local safety efforts and give them an opportunity to share their concerns directly with city officials.
The town hall will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will be held over the phone. Residents can also join online, with the link going live at 7:25 p.m. Topics likely to be discussed include crime prevention, auto theft, bail reform, road safety, speeding, and other safety-related issues.
Mayor Patrick Brown, representatives from Peel Regional Police, city officials, and regional councilors will participate and respond to questions from the public. Residents must register or submit their questions by noon on July 23. A registration form is available on the City of Brampton’s official website.
In addition to this town hall, Brampton residents can stay engaged through upcoming meetings of the Community Safety Advisory Committee, which are scheduled for August 14, October 23, and December 11. Details about these meetings can also be found on the city’s website.
