Three Brampton men charged in $300K organized cargo theft in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police have arrested and charged three Brampton residents in connection with an organized cargo theft operation that unfolded in Mississauga. 

On Monday, July 14, 2025, officers from the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau, with support from the Aerial and K9 Units, located a stolen transport truck near Dixie Road and Meyerside Drive. Two additional stolen transport trailers were found in the same vicinity, prompting a wider investigation into cargo theft across the region. 

The recovered vehicles and cargo are estimated to be worth over $300,000, with the originally reported stolen goods valued at approximately $100,000. 

As a result of the investigation, Peel Regional Police arrested 3 Brampton residents; Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, 42, Harmash Lal Dadra, 44 and Rajwant Singh, 31. They have been charged with two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Theft Over $5,000, and Possession of Break and Enter Instruments. Whereas Rajwant Singh is facing two additional charges for Breach of Conditional Sentence. 

The accused were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton
