Peel Regional Police are investigating a viral video circulating on social media that appears to show a driver in Brampton holding a beer can while driving and dangerously running a red light.
In the video, the driver is seen holding a Budweiser beer can while operating the vehicle. The footage also shows the car speeding at over 75 km/h and weaving through traffic before running a red light at approximately 95 km/h. At one point, the vehicle’s digital speedometer shows the car exceeding 100 km/h. Reddit users who shared the video expressed outrage:
- “Hopefully the police catch this person and lay dangerous driving charges.”
- “This reckless behavior is not only a threat to their own life but also to the safety of others. Their driver’s license should be revoked.”
