Toronto Police Service’s annual 2025 Festive R.I.D.E. campaign has concluded.
Police said that during the campaign, which ran from November 20, 2025, to January 2, 2026, officers stopped 23,811 vehicles and conducted more than 2,200 roadside breath tests. In addition, 201 arrests were made across spot checks, along with several other enforcement actions.
The R.I.D.E. campaign is aimed at increasing traffic enforcement and public awareness, highlighting the dangers of impaired driving not only during the holiday season but at any time of year.
Toronto police said that throughout the campaign, Toronto Police and all of its divisions increased patrols and carried out spot checks across the city.
Although the campaign has ended, Toronto Police say they will continue enforcing impaired driving laws to keep roads safe, reminding drivers that choosing to drive while impaired endangers not only their own lives, but also the lives of others on the road.
