In the third part of the Auto Insurance series, host Shameel Jasvir invited MPP Gurratan Singh to share possible solutions to the auto insurance frauds. MPP Singh had in 2018 tabled a bill, which would have ended postal code discrimination and lowered auto insurance rates. The bill was turned down by Premier Doug Ford and the Tory government.

In the fourth part of the Auo Insurance series, host Shameel Jasvir speaks with PC MPP Parm Gill who introduced a bill — Ending Discrimination in Automobile Insurance Act — in 2019 which aims at prohibiting insurance companies from considering “factors primarily related to the postal code or telephone area code for the residence of a person” when deciding monthly premium charges.
